Want to learn more about photography? Several years ago, I started teaching photography classes through the Lenape High School adult education department. One class, "How to take better pictures of your family and children," has been offered in the past. This six week class will teach you to improve your personal photographs by taking advantage of available light, proper posing techniques, use of props and distraction for young children and proper use of your camera. You will learn how to take advantage of the features of your camera and avoid it's weaknesses.Another class, "Introduction to black and white photography" is meeting currently. In this class you will learn to shoot, process and print your own black and white photographs. Black and white has made a big comeback in wedding and portrait photography as well as advertising and personal photography. Other classes may be offered in the future. If there is a class that you would like to see offered, please feel free to contact me. Registration is now open for both classes. Please contact the Lenape High School Adult Education office at 609-654-5111 x.3705, or email me at ed@edfarmerphotography.com. This fall I will be offering a class on wedding photography. If you are interested in learning this interesting and fun side, please contact me as soon as possible. The class will only be offered if there is sufficient interest. |
